Mother’s Day Celebration

The Best School in Dehradun as the St.Andrews World School held a special Mother’s Day celebration on May 6th. All the mothers and grandmothers of the students were invited to attend.

The event started with a beautiful song by the school choir, followed by a play put on by the students. The mothers were then treated to a delicious lunch prepared by the school’s culinary team.

It was a wonderful day for all involved, and a great way to show appreciation for all the mothers in the St. Andrews community.

Conserving a positive mindset is crucial as we, as the Best School in Dehradun, lead up to powerful and inspirational Celebrations like Mother’s Day. Junior class students had a creative activity session in which they made greeting cards for their Mothers and the Senior one had a dance Performance on the Mother’sDay Special Songs.

The Principal Addressed Students on Mother’s Day

By celebrating Mother’s Day, the Principal of the Best School in Dehradun Mrs. Neelam Nautiyal wanted to address the students about the unconditional love of our Mother.

As a Mother’s Day gift, you can create mini-books where you take the role of the author instead of the consumer and express their appreciation for their mothers by completing prompts.

This activity will help expand your’ vocabulary and encourage literacy skills. You should invite your own mother to class to read it at the end. She told students how they can express their love to their mothers.

Mother’s Day is a day to spend with the family, all about love and appreciation for everything mothers do for us every day. Mothers often have that magical touch to make anything seem possible with a smile, and also know when to offer their shoulder as a place to cry on and always be understanding.

Mrs. Neelam Nautiyal, a humble but powerful force principal of the Best School in Dehradun, spoke glowingly on how to be the epitome of versatility, having mastered both the art of homemaking and professionalism.

Supermoms are some of the toughest people I know and they have a lot to juggle in their lives. Not only do they have the important job of taking care of their families, but they also have to deal with all the stresses brought on by managing jobs that often require them to multi-task.

She said “Some days I also after spending her day at Best School in Dehradun, where I am the principal, comes home and does all sorts of other things like preparing dinner for our kids and also generally keeping house. One thing she always makes sure that her family eats dinner together even if it means she has to go back out again afterward for post-dinner meetings which could run too late into the night if something major is happening in the business.”

She extended greetings to the mothers and educators who were present at the event. She also spoke about women’s empowerment.
